Pheasants’ Hill Farm
Pheasants’ Hill Farm started out with one Tamworth pig in 1997. Then, when their neighbours got wind of it (excuse the pun), they asked about free-range pork, so they got a herd. Then followed the sheep and the chickens. They’re all free-range, naturally reared and rare breed.
They partner with other rare-breed farmers in Northern Ireland who share their ethos. They supply them with Irish Moiled and Dexter grass-fed beef, grass-fed lamb, wild venison, free-range chicken, turkeys, ducks and geese as well as rabbits, pheasants and other game birds. At Christmas they offer a dedicated online site selling delicious Christmas food products including free range turkeys, geese, ducks and chickens, free range rare breed hams, wild venison and Christmas pork and beef roasts.
We just can’t list everything they sell, but it’s all delicious. Check out their range of Paleo-friendly, baby and AIP (auto-immune protocol) products as well as bones for broth. They are big fans of thrift, batch cooking and using every scrap of their superb products.
