Lo and Slo

Emily McCorkell is a Philadelphia native who has made her home in the north-west.
She has brought with her an innate knowledge of all things BBQ. She wants us to
explore creative ways to live and cook in culture that is over-stressed and under-
nourished. It all started with her hand-made BBQ sauces and has grown and grown
from there.

This food heroine is an integral part of the food scene way beyond the city’s walls.
Her Wild and Fired BBQ School masterclasses on the grounds of Brook Vale
Gardens are uber-popular. You learn how to make your own fire and cook a delicious
wood-fired meal.

Her American Food Truck can be found at events where people love to eat BBQ. It is
also available to corporate and private hire.

Why not try a walking food tour of Derry-Londonderry? There are two options; a
shorter one inside the walls and a longer one along the river Foyle. It’s all on the
website.
