Blackfire Food
Belfast native and street artist Tim McCarthy describes himself as an alchemist. He’s well versed in the black art of growing chillis and then using them to create some fiery sauce recipes. He gathered a lot of knowledge globetrotting around North and Central America, India, Europe and the Middle and Far East for 30 years exploring culture and cuisine.
He set up Blackfire Food in 2014 to satiate his appetite for fiery food and now has a full range of sauces to satisfy every palate from mild through to the world famous ‘Pain in the Hole’ superhot sauce. Local suppliers include Armagh Cider company’s apple cider vinegar. The sauces are made by Craic Foods to their recipes. They have joined forces with the Good Food and Wine Company to be stocked in some of their hampers.
