Along with the programme that we have planned for our first birthday, market goers are bound to have a cracking good time at the market on 2nd July!”
Cavanagh Free Range Eggs were awarded a Gold Star from the Great Taste Awards in 2014 for their high quality, flavour and freshness. Eileen Hall who owns the business along with the her husband John said, “People like to know where their food comes from and we saw an opening in the market for an artisan free range eggs produced by hens which are allowed to roam freely rather than cooped up in cages. We started with 5,100 hens in 2002 and now have 36,000 free range hens on the farm where we live. We are delighted to be joining Comber Market as we have had a number of requests for our eggs from the Comber and Newtownards area. People can now visit the market and buy our eggs directly from us.
