Bangor Beer Club is a place to meet some of the characters behind the ever growing NI brewing scene.
Three years ago when The Salty Dog started in its present incarnation there were 5 craft breweries in NI and we made it our aim to stock at least one example from each of them. At the latest count Northern Ireland has 23 breweries and more coming every day (and we still try to stock at least one from each!

The Beer Club features a guest from one of these breweries talking about their beer, their company, their philosophy and their journey from vision to reality… and some great beer as well as bar bites courtesy of The Salty Dog.

This month we meet Clearsky produced Northern Ireland’s first wheat beer – Fulcrum. They have now extended their range with an IPA and a Lager. Hear about their inspiration and their commitment to supporting local charities.
