UPSTAIRS

The cocktail bar, nightclub and roof terrace are housed over three floors. Upstairs at The National conjures the glamour of a New York club, bringing upper levels of this Grade B+ listed former National Bank building back to their former glory.

Original features include high ceilings with intricate cornices, carved wooden pillars, original doors and a distinctive wrought iron and stone staircase which have been sympathetically restored. Plush fabrics, furnishings and fittings have been added to update the interior of the striking venue, which dates to the 1890s.

The National is open daily from 10am and offers food until 4pm before it transforms into one of Belfast best loved bars.
