Strangford Lough and Lecale Partnership are hosting the international coastal rowing event, ‘Skiffieworlds 2016’. 800 competitors, some from as far away as the United States and Tasmania, and up to 60 boats, are expected to participate in these World Championships for the St Ayles’ Skiff class of coastal rowing boat.

Come and watch communities from around the world participate in this colourful and friendly celebration of coastal rowing from Monday 25th –Saturday 30th July.

Social events will take place throughout the week culminating in Strangford Village Square on Saturday 30th with music provided by The Cuan. We look forward to being a focal point throughout the week for the crews, supporters and spectators.
